Description
Tilhari is a characteristic piece of Nepalese jewelry. It is presented to the bride at her wedding and is only worn by married woman. Originally Tilhari is worn around the neck, hanging from a bundel of red or green tiny glass beads, known as "potey" and symbolizes a women's prayer for the long life of her husband. This is a perfect example of us using a traditional design and update it into a more wearable piece in today's modern world.
Note: also available in a pendant.
